For my final Major Project, we were given an open brief to conduct rigorous research into a topic of our choice, then develop and create an outcome.
I chose to look into the practice of Manifestation in a historical and modern context. I explored the authentic roots/methods and compared how Manifestation is viewed and perceived today.
My outcome resulted in a book and a small handheld leaflet, detailing my research and exploring my own 'Steps of Manifestation' that I had created from my research.
I utilised the gold foiler machine and Cricut to create the intricate patterns of the design. One of my favourite features of the outcome is the use of the Gmund Gold GF Smith paper, which is created with flecks of real gold - representing the abundance aspect of manifestation. I also really like the mixed media aspects of print as well as hand painted flowers.
